As our schedule allows, we are happy to offer personalized snowshoe tours deeper into the boreal forest for an unforgettable experience in our winter wonderland. We can journey for 1-6 hours, it's up to you! We are also happy to do ski or fat bike tours, but equipment will need to be rented elsewhere. Feel free to put in a request for a non-motorized outdoor adventure you are hoping for in the Fairbanks area and we will do our best to help make your dreams a reality! Submit the form at the bottom of this page, and we will follow up as soon as we can to gain a better understanding of what you're looking for and to determine pricing.

Winter tours will take you through the heart of the Interior Alaska boreal forest, where we will discover animal tracks, learn about local plant uses, and how plants and animals survive life in the cold. It may be winter but there are still birds, mammals, and plants to be found! This is your experience and we are happy to customize it to suit your needs.  Trails are chosen depending on the abilities and interests of the group.  If you want an exploratory nature hike, a quiet meditative walk in the woods, or a fast paced hike with some off trail explorations, just let us know!

After our time outdoors you are welcome to come in and enjoy the warmth of the wood stove and sip on a cup of herbal tea (locally foraged by us) or hot chocolate.   Feel free to ask questions and check out the projects we are working on and finished products made with locally foraged products.  We are happy to share our experiences living in Alaska, hunting, working, and adventuring in Alaskan villages and bush. If you are missing your four-legged friend at home, our dog Cooper is happy to give you some attention and loves a good ear rub (he's also happy to lounge on his bed if you would rather not interact with him).
